In today’s fast-paced and aggressively competitive world, who does not feel stress? There is so much to do during the day and half the time you feel you can’t get enough done – or that you haven’t accomplished anything. And, if your boss finds out, you might get fired. If you get fired then how will your kids go to college? Oh God, the kids have to be picked up after school then taken to day care because your spouse thinks you don’t do enough to help with them. Where’s the aspirin?

Before you start pulling your hair out in clumps, find some kind relief. The so-called alternative medicine like what is found at Sean’s Massage Center will give that relief. They have any number of techniques you can choose to ease your headache and calm your jangled nerves.

What we can offer

For stress and its annoying symptoms, Sean’s Massage Center is the place where you can relax and unwind while Sean or one of his practitioners works on your body and your emotions. When you first enter the door, you step into an environment designed to help people relax. Soothing music plays in the background. You are laid on a warmed massage bed, and the practitioner will use Aveda oil as he/she rubs the tensions out of your body.

Some of Sean’s specialties include full body massages, couples massages, reflexology, heated stone therapy, and other techniques that can be used by a recovering smoker. Traditional Swedish massage therapy can soothe your emotions and restore a sense of balance using slow strokes with light to medium pressure. Reflexology is a proven technique. It has far-reaching results in dealing with other maladies as well because it addresses the natural balance of the entire body, in some ways, more than a massage.

Acupuncture is another useful form. It utilizes natural pressure points (also called acupoints) on the human body to alleviate the aches and pains associated with stress. By stimulating the natural “acupoints” on the body, certain underlying tensions are eased. It can also aid in detoxifying the body.
